We want all who learn with us to do their very best and, where possible, to excel.

As a house with weak foundations will not stand, so we need strong foundations in our lives and in our learning. And especially in the core skills of literacy and numeracy. That is where we begin: in letter recognition, and then formation of numbers and the four basic skills of numeracy – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.

The same applies to literacy. There are 4 elements. Listening, Talking, Reading and Writing. We teach them in that order, master them, and put them together. We teach letter formation, punctuation, phonics, comprehension, summary and much, much more.

After your child has mastered the Basic skills, they are ready to tackle Reasoning Skills, which we consider to be central in the quest for excellence.

Reasoning skills are introduced from about age 7.

And if all that were not enough, we introduce basic science through a study of plants and animals.

There is a whole world out there.
